Overview

For the 2025 Klanglicht Festival in Graz, the whole master's programme of FH Joanneum developed a light installation titled Vertigo, taking place at the Antoniuskirche.

Background

The festival's theme that year was "Rausch" (intoxication, frenzy, loss of control) and each team worked on their own animation and storyline as part of the shared installation, a collaboration between students of Interaction, Media, and Sound Design.

Our team wanted to tell the story of a walk through nature in an effort to calm one's nerves, but the idyllic atmosphere doesn't last long, as the noise, stress, and destruction of today's society break through.

Result

Nature and industry are at odds with each other throughout our installation, who knows which one will win in the end…
