A personal motion design project exploring how simple geometric shapes can create energy and rhythm through movement. The focus was on color relationships, timing, and the playfulness that emerges when flat design starts to move.

Background

This project began as a personal exploration with no brief and no constraints — just shapes, color, and motion. The grid structure was a deliberate choice: it creates a sense of order that the shapes constantly push against, each cell following its own rhythm while still being part of a larger whole.

The focus was less on narrative and more on feeling, how timing, repetition, and a bold palette can turn something minimal into something alive.

Result

All forms are built from simple metal-like surfaces using a limited set of transformations such as bending and layering. Lighting and camera position remain consistent, allowing texture and reflection to become the primary visual variables.
